The HK Audio Installation Line was developed with one goal foremost in mind – to render the natural sound of the human voice with utmost authenticity. Fortunately, HK Audio engineers have the ideal surrounding in which to tune new speaker systems – one of the industry’s most advanced acoustical measuring rooms, developed by the Fraunhofer Institut für Bauakkustik. FIR-TUNE permits the use of DYNACORD speaker settings with integrated crossover and FIR filter settings for the greatest possible linearization of the magnitude and phase of the transfer function. Over IRIS-Net, any desired number of DSP 600 processors, together with other IRIS-Net capable devices, can be configured and operated swiftly and conveniently.

The Dynacord DSP 260 is a 2-in-6-out speaker controller. It allows you to fine-tune your active speaker systems and adjust the several components to better work together. This controller features a parametric graphic equalizer, a delay function, a crossover, channel EQ, channel delay and a volume control with a limiter for each output. The DSP 260 has a variable lockout function which means you can determine exactly which parameters a user can adjust, something that is particularly convenient if you rent out speaker systems.

The TX1181 uses the EVS-18S, a high excursion 18” woofer, coupled to well braced enclosure with large, low distortion ports, to add high impact bass response to any fullrange loudspeaker. An integrated low pass filter allows the TX1181 to be connected in parallel with a TX1122 or TX1152 on a single amplifier channel, eliminating the need for additional amplifier channels and processing.
