Onstage or in the studio, you can instantly access the GR-55’s huge library of ready-to-use sounds, from pop to rock and beyond, with quick-access category buttons. Welcome to a groundbreaking new era in guitar synthesis!
The EVH Wah was developed after intensive design collaboration with the legendary guitarist, Eddie Van Halen. Early on in the process, Eddie handed over his Holy Grail Cry Baby Wah-a standard Cry Baby customized in the early Nineties with a more vocal-like, High Q inductor and a wider frequency sweep. Amazingly, we found that over the years Eddie's unique wah style, which uses mostly the middle range of the pedal's action, had carved his own curve into the pot's resistive element, making the middle range even more defined and increased the low-end sweep. Our clones of the worn-in pot and hand-selected inductor give the new EVH Wah Wah the same Holy Grail feel and tone, and its true hardwire bypass, dual bright blue bypass LEDs, and graphics based on the black and yellow-striped guitar featured on Van Halen II round out this EVH-approved Cry Baby with a voice and look all its own.
Guitar virtuoso John Petrucci and Dream Theater engineer Richard Chycki worked with the Cry Baby design team to create the Dunlop JP95 John Petrucci Signature Cry Baby Wah. John himself says it "sounds huge and badass like an angry, screaming monster with the ultimate expressive range - it's perfect for shaping single notes or manipulating growling, heavy chords. . If you dig John Petrucci's guitar tone, you definitely need to check out the Dunlop JP95 John Petrucci Signature Cry Baby Wah.
Now you can command the same killer wah tone as Kirk with the new Kirk Hammett Cry Baby Wah. Developed in close collaboration with the metal guitar icon himself, it has been meticulously tuned and tweaked to deliver the wah sound that revolutionized metal solos. This is the legendary tone that Kirk dials in on tour using his Cry Baby Rack Wah.
Like the man himself, the Slash Cry Baby Wah is both revolutionary and classic, right down to its hot rod metallic red finish and cutting edge circuit design. The Slash Wah deploys a searing high gain distortion coupled with the Fasel-loaded Classic circuit for instant lead tone that not only cuts through, but sings with a sweet and lush top end. Convenient LEDs indicate distortion on/off and wah on/off modes, so there's no more guessing game every time you put your foot down
Geezer Butler is one of rock ‘n’ roll’s pioneers—his growling bass tones and heavy, swinging bass lines have helped define entire genres of hard rock and heavy metal. As the first bass player to ever record with a wah pedal, Geezer was the only natural choice when it came to designing our very first signature Cry Baby Bass Wah.
When using a PSA-230P in an 'daisy chain' configuration he may be to weak depending on the number of BOSS pedals used, the answer to this is our powerful PSB-230EU. It's design also allows a greater distance to the nearest power socket wich makes it ideal for live use.
You've seen it. You've heard it. But do you have one? This is the original Dunlop Cry Baby wah pedal. It's the one that's joined legions of legendary guitarists onstage since the dawn of rock... from Hendrix to Clapton and far, far beyond. Mount this one on your pedalboard and you'll never regret the decision: this is the one and only wah you need to conjure up classic tones or dive in a new direction of your own. Featuring a heavy-duty die-cast construction for years of stomping, rocking, and tear-shedding (and sometimes shredding) the Dunlop Cry Baby wah pedal is a pedalboard classic.
