These shakers were designed according to master percussionist Luis Conte’s exact requirements. “My shaker sound is as smooth as silk” is how Luis describes them. The grey shaker is the loudest of the three artist series shakers from MEINL. It delivers a sharper cutting sound that is aimed toward live performances at higher volume levels. This model will stand up to heavier playing and be able to hold its own with other instruments on stage. Any drummer or percussionist will find this instrument extremely useful in their playing.
