Mellow sound, fun to strum, easy differentiation between strings when finger-picking. The action and finish are all very nice. No flaws in the finish. The Alhambra 3F Flamenco Guitar from Alhambra Guitars has a wonderful, singing tone with just a tiny hint of crispness. Slightly brighter tone overall than a normal classical. A distinctive and pleasant tone that I never get tired of. And, as the spruce top matures, it sounds better all the time. The action is very low and easy to play.

The model 5 Fp OP Piñana is a flamenco guitar called flamenco negra. Instead of cypress for the back and sides, it is made of Indian rosewood. Although in this case, it is important to highlight the choice of solid Cedar for the top.

The Alhambra 5P from Alhambra Guitars. Spanish Classical Guitar. The soundboard – major influence on the guitar’s sound consists of a thin piece of softwood that is supported by 7 braces, 2 harmonic bars at the bottom will enhance a full-bodied, warm and rich sound. The important qualities of such woods include a close grain count and high stiffness to mass ratio (allows maximum output for the minimum input), resilience, light weight and resonance. 

The 7 C Classic model is a conservatory level guitar, completely handmade with solid woods; Cedar on top and African varieties for the neck and for the back and sides.

Specifically for the 7 C Classic model, Alhambra has been used Mahogany, also called  African Mahogany, for the neck which has been reinforced with an ebony strip. The reinforcement, which is hidden in the neck, can be seen only by using a mirror or removing the nut.

For the construction of the body, solid Mahogany has been used for back and sides. A wood that gives an elegant reddish tone, in addition to a more velvety sound color, but at the same time develops a good volume and defines the notes very well.

The Alhambra 7FC is a beautiful instrument, completely solid. Its back and sides are in solid cypress, and its soundboard is solid German spruce also. This model has a cedar handle reinforced with ebony, and on this handle is the tack that is also ebony. The golden mechanics come complete this nice finish. A transparent golpéador comes to protect the table under the rosette.
