This two-way speaker is designed for installation into ceilings. It is well-suited for background and near-field sound reinforcement in foyers, boutiques, bars, restaurants, shopping centers, airports and railway stations. The enclosure is loaded with a 6.5″ woofer and a 1″ tweeter with neodymium magnets. Both drivers are aligned in coaxial array. The IL 60 CTC features a built-in passive crossover and a 100V transformer with selectable power taps (accessible from below once the speaker installed). It is housed in a metal chassis. The front bezel is made of white polymer with a metal grille insert. The unit is installed using clamps that are accessible from below. This fullrange speaker”s frequency response is wide enough for use without a subwoofer.
